Carson insisted that Santa gave us Christmas Lifesavers. I told him Santa is just pretend, like a cartoon. (We've never done the Santa thing.) He said, "Come on! Santa IS real! You're staying at Grandma's." I asked him if it was because I said Santa isn't real and he said, "Yes, and you're staying at Grandma's and you're not coming back."
